While the City Council welcomes and encourages participation in City Council meetings, adopted rules allow no more than 5 minutes (Resolution No. 2007-106) for expression of non-agenda items.  Matters under the jurisdiction of the City Council, and not on the posted agenda, may be addressed by the general public; however, California law prohibits the City Council from taking action on any matter which is not on the posted agenda unless it is determined to be an emergency by the City Council.  Citizens are entitled to address the City Council on any agenda item subject to the 5 minute provision.

1.      Register of Audited Demands for period covering February 12 – 22, 2010. (S. Cumberland)

 

2.      Set Public Hearing for March 22, 2010, for the adoption of a solid waste rate increase for community clean-up events and disposal of street sweeping debris, and to establish recycling rates for large recycling bins, and cleaning rates for large bins. (G. Gebhardt)

 

3.      Resolution No. 2010-_____ amendment the FY2009/10 City of Ceres General Fund Budget and reducing the Appropriations Budget in the amount of $302,611. (S. Cumberland)

 

4.      Resolution No. 2010-_____ adopting the State of California HCD HOME Short Sale Policy and authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents associated with property sales under this program and authorizing the Finance Director to make all necessary journal entries.  (B. Briggs)

 

5.      Approve Resolution No. 2010-_____ supporting a grant application with the Turlock Groundwater Basin Association (TGBA) for federal funding for a basin-wide monitoring program and authorizing submittal of a letter of support.  (J. Damas)
